PayMyInvoice

One percent.
Only when you get paid.

Your customer pays straight into your own account — the money never passes through us. We are the technology provider: we take 1% of every invoice paid through a PayMyInvoice link and invoice you for it at the end of the month. No subscription, no setup fee, no cost per integration.

Pay as you get paid

1%of each paid
invoice

Accrues only when an invoice is settled through a PayMyInvoice link. We never touch the money — it goes from your customer to your account — so nothing is deducted. At the start of each month you get one invoice for the commission earned in the month before.

What lands in your account

Your customer pays you directly. Our commission is not taken out of this — it is invoiced to you at the start of the following month.

Payment methods

Processing rates by method

These are charged by the payment institution you contract with, and deducted by them from what they settle into your account. They are not ours and never reach us. Shown here so the true cost of each method is visible in one place — open banking is almost always the cheapest way for a customer to settle an invoice.

Full fee schedule

Everything we can ever charge you

This is the complete list of fees that go to PayMyInvoice. If a charge is not on it, it did not come from us.

What PayMyInvoice charges

Commission

1%

Accrues on each invoice settled through a PayMyInvoice payment link. Nothing is deducted from your money — your customer pays you directly, and at the start of the following month we send you one invoice for the commission earned.

Monthly subscription

€0.00

There is no monthly or annual fee. Ever.

Accounting integrations

€0.00

All 50 native integrations are included, as many as you need, with no per-connection charge.

API access & payment links

€0.00

Unlimited API calls within fair-use limits, unlimited payment links, unlimited invoices in the dashboard.

Invoices paid outside PayMyInvoice

€0.00

If your customer pays by ordinary bank transfer and you simply mark the invoice as paid, no commission accrues at all.

Holding or moving your money

Never

We are a technology provider. Funds go straight from your customer to your own account through your own payment provider — PayMyInvoice is not in the payment chain and never holds client funds.

Onboarding, support & account management

€0.00

Setting up your account, connecting your books and email support cost nothing. Accounts processing more than €250,000 a month can request volume pricing.

Charged by your payment institution, not by us

Once you connect a payment provider, the money is handled by a regulated payment institution. Anything below is set, collected and published by them under your agreement with that institution. We never add a markup to it and never receive a share of it, so the exact amounts live in their fee schedule — which you see before you connect.

Payment processing

The per-method rates in the table above, deducted by your provider from the amount they settle into your account. Their rates, their contract with you.

Disputes and chargebacks

Raised through the card schemes. The institution sets the dispute fee and whether it is returned when you win. Open banking payments are not subject to card chargebacks.

Refunds, reversals and failed direct debits

Whether a processing fee is returned on a refund, and what a returned direct debit costs, follows the institution's schedule.

Currency conversion

Applied by the institution when the invoice currency differs from your payout currency, at the rate and margin stated in their terms.

Payouts

Your settlement schedule, cross-border payouts, instant payouts and failed-payout charges are agreed between you and your provider. We have no visibility of them and no say in them.

Strong customer authentication and card tooling

3-D Secure, network tokens and card account updater are part of the institution's processing service.

Billing notes

  • • Nothing is ever deducted from your money. Payments go from your customer straight to your account; our commission is invoiced separately.
  • • At the start of each month we issue one invoice per currency for the commission accrued in the month that closed, payable within 14 days. Every invoice and the underlying transactions are listed under Billing in your dashboard.
  • • All amounts are quoted exclusive of VAT. VAT is added where required by law, based on your business location and VAT status.
  • • Our prices may change with 30 days' notice. Any invoice already paid is billed at the rate in force on the payment date.
  • • The service is operated by Flowgrid LTD (company number 17474059), registered in England and Wales.

Pricing questions

When exactly is the 1% charged?

It accrues the moment an invoice is settled through a PayMyInvoice link, and is billed at the start of the following month on a single invoice. Invoices you simply mark as paid — because the customer sent an ordinary bank transfer — cost nothing.

Do you hold my money at any point?

No. PayMyInvoice is a technology provider, not a payment institution. Your customer pays into your own account through your own payment provider. We never receive, hold or route your funds, which is also why our commission has to be invoiced rather than deducted.

Is there a minimum or a cap?

No. 1% is 1%, whether the invoice is €80 or €80,000. Accounts above €250,000 a month can request volume pricing.

Do I pay for integrations or API calls?

No. Every accounting integration, every payment link and the REST API are included at no extra cost.

What happens if a customer charges back?

We charge nothing for a dispute. Any dispute fee comes from the payment institution processing the card payment, at the rate in their fee schedule. Open banking payments cannot be charged back the way card payments can, which is one reason we put them first.

Can I pass the fee on to my customer?

Surcharging rules differ by country and by card scheme. Where it is permitted, you can enable a surcharge per currency in the dashboard; where it is not, the option is hidden.
